What does supply teaching involve?

Supply teaching is an exciting and rewarding way to gain experience and build your CV. You can work on a day to day supply basis, or alternatively teach in long term supply roles. For day to day supply teaching, when a school books supply cover there will be planning set for the day, however there will be times when short notice cover is required so it is useful to be prepared with some planning relevant to the age groups you teach.
